my 1st house modal

It spent my group members and me for a whole night. we have made it for 12 hours. It was started at 7pm to 7am next day. The most thing that need to spend more time id the window and the door. we need to made it carefully because it is too small. This is a good experience for all of us.

Long section

This is the section of a house. On your left side is a kitchen and right side is a living room.

Long elevation 

This is the long elevation of the house. In elevation, you just can see the external of the house, so you just can see the wall of the house.

Isometric 

I think the challenging of this assignment is learning to draw a circle in different degree. Imjust get 8 marks bacause my line of the circle this ugly. 

One point grid

The reason why to drawing this is for drawing a space that show in one point perspective. So we just need to put this grid behind the tracing paper, them can draw the space that you want.

One point perspective kitchen

The space that my lecture chose is a kitchen. We have to design the kitchen in one point perspective. The photo above is the kitchen that I design and It just get 8 marks. 

Two point perspective 

This is difficult then the one point perspective. We had taken a long time to drawing this. Thanks for the teaching of our lecturer. I got 9 out of 10! 

Two point perspective bedroom

The space that my lecturer chose for two point perspective is bedroom. This is the bedroom that I design. It is a small room for a women.  I got full mark in this assignment !!!

Papaya

This is the papaya that I have chosen. I though I can get A but it just get B+ , so I was a but disappointed. Although it just get B+, I still very love this drawing. 

Animation 

The animation that I chose is Mr. Peabody and  Sherman. This an animation that I really like because the storyline of it is really really cool. I got many problem in this assignment, the comments that my lecturer gave is to improve quality , text have to use architectural lettering, use capital letter and my text is too much  and small. So, I just get 6 marks in this assignment.

Live drawing 'Exploring details''

This is the 1st assignment that I did For this subject. The high heel that I chose, actually it is a pink high heel . I tried to make it detail. And I get 9 out of 10~

Orthographic projection 

From my understanding, the reason that doing this assignment is for prectice us look at the different views for a same thing. There are 3 view that I draw: top view, front view and right/ left side view.

This is an another assignment for orthographic project. I got 9 out of 10! 

Orthographic projection 1 - plan 

 This is a plan for a little house. From this assignment we need to learn and know the measurement of the furnitures and draw it in a different scale. I am very confused in this assignment. I have many mistakes. My lecture gave me the comment: to improve quality of line , to check symbol and size , line too dark... Hahahahahaha .... So just get 5 marks. 

RCP 

RCP means reflected ceiling plan. The most important thing for RCP is the legend. If you forget to draw the legend, the reader will not understand the symbols that you draw in the plan. When arranging every symbol, we have arrange it tidy, the every distant better be the same. Next, we have to add in the ceiling high in the every space. This is a must. 




There are some mistakes that I did are the distant between each symbol are not same and very messy. The description of the symbol that in the legend did not have in a straight line and the cut line have to go through the exterior wall. So I just get 8 out of 10. 

Elevation (short) 

This is a short elevation. As you can see, this the front of a house. For doing this exercise, We need to know all the measurement so we searched it and memories it. Let me tell you the measurement that I still remember. 

1) the tiles of the roof : 200 x 200

2) the window : 900 x 800

3) the door : 2100 x 900

4) the flooding : 200 x 8000

5) the wall : 3150 x 150 




The mistake that I did in this exercise is I did not have thicker the base line. So I get 9 out of 10. 

Short section 




This is a short section. As you can see, it is a part of the interior. In your left side is the living room and the right side is the bed room. The between of the living room and the bedroom have a wall. The measurement of the interior wall is 2950 x 100. 




There are some mistakes that I did are the base line have to be thinker and the section or cut line have to be go through the exterior wall.  So that I get 9 out of 10. Just a small mistake, I felt sad because I could not get full mark. I will improve next time. 

KL to Mersing

KL to Mersing 

This is a visual dairy task but also a memory of our trip. As you can see, there are 10 steps for reach Mersing. 1st, I tidied up the thing that I need then drived my little car and park in campers. After then, we met in front of the 7-11. My good and nice and friendly friend bought a lot of food for me. They want me become fat girl. Hahahahahaha.... After eating, we chitchat and listened to his life story. Until 2:30am, , Sharon and I felt tired so we went to sleep. We were woken up when we reached Mersing. We had our breakfast near the jetty. There are many cats here. I hate it. My lecturer asked for the tickets but she realize that the ship of 6:30 am was canceled so we just wait until 10am. 

When I was doing this sketching, I can felt a lot of happiness. This is a funny trip, I perhaps we can have a trip again if have chance. 

Live Drawing

Last weekend, I had a trip in Tioman Island with my classmates. This a nice and sweet memory for me because I had learned how to snorkeling although I dun know how to swim and I felt that the relationship between our classmate is nicer than before. Lecturer had given us a live drawing for the postcard since the 1st day of the trip... I choose to draw some stones which beside the sea when it was  ebb. I think this is a good thing that we can forces in when everybody wanna go to Tioman island again.

Two Point Perspective

Last 2 weeks, my lecturer Ms. Norji reached us how to draw a room in 2 point perspective. The exercise of it was passed up so I will upload when my lecture return back for me. And we also have to do some exercise in visual dairy. We have to choose 5 spaces in two point perspective and point out the LVP ( left vanishing point ), RVP ( right vanishing point) , HL(horizontal level) and GL( ground level).

One Point Perspective

This is a new test. Lecturer want us choose 5 one point perspective pictures and point out the VP (Vanishing Point), GL(Ground Line) and HL(Horizon Line). I chose 5 kitchen pictures to doing this test because I can look at the different design in the same time.

And from this test, I have learned how to find the VP. I also realize that VP is the most important point when drawing one point perspective.

These are the tasks of this week. We learned how to draw an architecture plan. I think it is a little bit hard because I do not know how to draw the symbol of the things. So I need to find online first then start my drawing. This is a good try for me~

My Hatching and Cross-Hatching

My Scribbling and Stippling 

This is my 2nd artwork in design communication. I finished it in the library when there was a rest for 4 hours. It is really hard to draw a straight line by using freehand. So, you can see that my table is not really straight and it is a little bit askew. Before I drew the table, I had practiced to draw the straight line for a long time to get the feeling of drawing straight line. Although it had not gotten good effect, it had some improvements. 

In this artwork, we can learn 4 skills of sketching, there are hatching, cross-hatching, scribbling and stippling. Hatching is drawn by the lines which are some slope. Cross-hatching is drawn by the lines which are different slope. Scribbling is drawn by the curly lines and stippling is drawn by the dots. I think that the most difficult skill is stippling because it needs to use a long time to finish it. But the quality and the effect of stippling is the best. 

Cover of Sketch Book

My Design of The Cover

This is my first task of design communication. Lecturer wanted us decorate our cover of the 5b sketch book. Firstly, we have to buy a 5b sketch book from Daiso or Muji. The price of 5b sketch book from Muji is RM 10.90 but if you get it from Daiso is just RM 5.30 . My friends and I have a hard time to finding it because the shops that near by us, all are outed off stock. We found it at the Muji of Mid Vally finally. 

According the photo above, you can see that I drew a scenery as my design of cover. The reason why I want to draw this is I felt that interior architecture is a mysterious thing for me although I knew it is learn how to design the interior but I don't know what I will learn at future. So, when you look at this cover design, you can feel there is something mysterious inside.
